Tui bird live in the the North Island, the west and south coasts of the South Island in NZ.They are recognised Tuis and very well known but not all the time. They are very elegant and very physically beautiful birds in New Zealand. They mentally eat insects and grubs. A Tui are such truly astonishing birds and they are not threaten. They are marvelous Tui birds that I have ever seen.

Hi Ana!
Oh the Tui! Great choice for Bird of the Year... has it won on a previous year??
You are right they are really beautiful birds - Have you seen one before? Do you get many in your area?
What made you decide to pick the Tui for Bird of the Year Ana?
I think that it is a pretty awesome choice :)
Have you had a pet bird before Ana?
I had a pet bird when I was younger called Petrie after the dinosaur from 'Land Before Time' : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnjrwacqDLc
