Should grandparents get paid
Should Grandparents get paid to look after Grandchildren
I believe that grandparents don’t get paid for looking after grandchildren. These are my reasons why grandparents get paid to look after grandchildren. In my opinion I don’t think that grandparents get paid because they just babysit children when parents go some places.
Grandparents love to help look after the children and I think that it is very exciting for them. First reason is most parents are really busy and they call grandparents to come and look after them for the night. second reason is that grandparents is just taking a opportunity to look after the children and it is really a big responsibility. I think that getting paid is not worth it because they have other stuff to do. In my culture we have older siblings to come and look after us. Having grandparents is fun and you don’t like having a babysitter you do what you want to do and not join in the fun.
Another reason is that grandparents have the time to spend great times with the children and it is responsibility for them just like taking them to bed for bedtime stories. Grand parents do whatever they do and children do stuff. My last reason is that some children doesn’t want a babysit they want to be alone.

Simple machine challenge
wood and a lever. One person had to stand at the wood and Mr hendricks used his thumb to push down.
It worked very well. We were all shocked. Next more students started to have a try. One of them tried to push right down it didn't work.
Simple machines
This is my simple machine. I was trying to make a car. I used some materials at home to make my simple machine. We are making these simple machines because we are having a display at week 7.We were learning about simple machines and we were making them out of pulley and wheel and axle.

Comparing fractions
This week we used inequality signs <, > and = to compare fractions.
On Monday we used materials. This was easy for me because we used materials we put one big piece and put another piece on the other and it tells me which is bigger.
On Tuesday we used a fraction chart. I found this very was easy for me because I used my fraction chart and put my two fingers to point where the right answer is.
On Wednesday we worked without the above. We learnt a strategy which was addition and comparing fractions. The knowledge required to solve this problem was using times table to know all the answers. This was easy for me because I made the denominator the same.

Football skills
This morning Steve the coach taught us many skills these were some of the skills: kick with your the inside or outside of your foot. When a person tries to kick or take your ball stop and the turn.
Football is very challenging for me when I started playing and most of the time I can only kick the ball and pass it to my teammates. Sometimes I try to kick the ball and score a goal.
Football is a fun game to play when most of the children are here but there are more sports to play. I probably chose tennis because I love to hit the ball with a racket.
