The WWF: World Wildlife Fund SLJ

The saimaa seal is one  of the most extinct seals.  There are only 360  left. The seals gives birth to in a lair that digs into a snowbank If there is no snow banks then the pups are born on ice. Which pups don't have protection against predators.  Half of the pups could die.  And that's why we build snowbank for the impoverished seals.

Kia Ora Ana,

I enjoyed reading this blog post of yours. You are doing an awesome job of the Summer Learning Journey this year. It is so sad that these seal pups are in danger from predators. It is so great that the WWF are doing their best to stop this species from becoming extinct.

Keep up the great blogging!

Talk soon,

Sophie :)
